possessive vs. contractions

Possessive: (bezittelijk) gebruik je om aan te geven dat iets van iemand is (bezit is) 

Contractions: (samenstelling) wanneer een voornaamwoord (he, I , they) samen wordt getrokken met een werkwoord en er dus 1 woord ontstaat. (you're, I'm)

Where/ were/ we're

Where: betekent waar, gebruik je om een locatie aan te geven. 

Were:  verleden tijd van zijn (to be)

We’re: betekent wij zijn: we are.
