Hoe maak je de Present Perfect?

Present perfect - gebruik

1. iets is gebeurd en het is niet belangrijk wanneer

We have finished our work.

2. begonnen in het verleden en het gaat nog steeds door

We haven't seen you in weeks.

3. gebeurd in het verleden, nu resultaat te zien

We have done our homework. Here it is.

4. net wel/nog niet gebeurd

I haven't finished this yet.

present perfect

have / has + voltooid deelwoord (werkwoord + - ed)*

I / you / we / they: have + voltooid deelwoord

He / she / it : has + voltooid deelwoord

Ontkennend: haven't / hasn't + voltooid deelwoord

Vragend: have / has ... + voltooid deelwoord?

present perfect - signaalwoorden

Vaak staan er signaalwoorden in de zin waardoor je weet dat je de present perfect moet gebruiken (maar niet altijd dus!)

Since, for, in weeks, just, lately, recently, yet.

Voorbeelden zonder signaalwoord:

I've lost my keys --> I can't open the door now.

She's finished her homework so now she has time to Netflix.

Als iets in het verleden is gebeurd en het is belangrijk wanneer. Vaak staan er in de zin woorden zoals last night, in 2015, when I was young (maar niet altijd dus!)

We talked on the phone last night.

I left my house an hour ago.

John was here at six, but we were here at seven.

past simple

regelmatige werkwoorden: + -ed erachter zetten

onregelmatige werkwoorden: eigen vorm (zie p.25-27, 2e rijtje)

vragende en ontkennende zinnen: did of didn't + hele werkwoord.
