There are 4 reasons for using a gerund properly

1. after prepositions (voorzetsels)

2. After certain verbs:
to hate, to like, to stop, to prefer, to enjoy, to avoid, to
remember, to refuse, to mind, to keep, to spend.
He kept asking for money
I avoid giving him money
I prefer watching movies about serial killers

to feel like, it’s no use, it’s worth, there’s
no, be busy, can’t help.
It's worth noticing that everybody is on their phone
