About that Graphic Novel Portfolio....

Theme 3: Showbizz

Goals of this theme:

• You can give your opinion and recommend or criticise something
• You will know words that have to with entertainment and showbizz and linking words
• You will be able to use adjectives and the present perfect properly
• You can describe and compare films and series

First thing that pops up in your mind when you think of Showbiz or showbusiness!

Oxford Dictionary says:

show business

noun

noun: showbusiness

Meaning: the theatre, films, television, and pop music as a profession or industry.

Small assignment

What: Create your own top 5 of entertainment things to watch/listen/play/etc. (includes, music, musicals, tv series, movies, games and plays) + add your reasons why someone should watch/play/listen to it

Write down full sentences!
Example: Game of Thrones because there's a lot of action and great actors

Time: 8 minutes

Help: Spotify, netflix, disney, etc. 

Done: hand it in on my desk in the back + Start on homework Chapter 3

Online version: Write it down in a Word document and send it via Teams!
