Classroom rules

• Be prepared for class. (books, laptop, notebook, pen etc.)
• Don't be afraid to ask questions. 
• Try to talk as much English as possible, have respect for each other while doing that! We all make mistakes and we need them to improve :)

Wat is zoekend lezen? 

Het is niet altijd nodig om een tekst helemaal te lezen. Soms wil je maar één ding weten.

Je kunt dan de tekst zoekend lezen: je leest niet de hele tekst maar zoekt direct naar de informatie die je nodig hebt.

Zoekend lezen begint met het kijken naar de titel. 

De titel zegt vaak al veel over de inhoud van de tekst. 

Kijk vervolgens naar de tussenkopjes en andere opvallende woorden, cijfers, tekens, bolletjes, nummeringen, tabellen, grafieken en afbeeldingen.
