Goals: 

- You can describe a picture by using sentence helpers.

- You can describe why a photo is human / physical

Step 1: Look at the picture (top, bottom and sides)

Step 2: What do you see?
– keywords: water, people, houses, shops….

Step 3: Start describing the pictures
(minimum of three sentences each)

Task - Describing pictures

1. Use the worksheet and your notes
Cut and glue the helpsheet and the 4 pictures

2. Describe each of the 4 pictures 

3. Use at least 3 sentences for each picture, using the sentence helpers

Bonus Task 

1. Look at your pictures again.

2. Are they about Human or Physical Geography? 

3. Describe for each picture which one you choose and why. 

Homework

1. Finish describing the pictures.

In your notebook should now be:

1. Front cover
2. Brainstorm 
3. Geography Alphabet 
4. Venn diagram (human / physical)
5. Describing pictures (note + task)
