ADVERBS OF FREQUENCY

- Adverbs of frequency are often used to indicate routine or repeated activities, so they are often used with the present simple tense.

- Always use adverbs of frequency to discuss how often something happens.

ADVERBS OF FREQUENCY

Adverbs usually come before the verb.
But, adverbs come after the verb to be.

For example:
Jared never is at work                        They often travel on weekends
OR

Jared is never at work                        They travel often on weekends

PRONUNCIATION

/z/ gets confused with /s/

z is voiced, s is unvoiced
When there's a written z we always pronounce it as a /z/

When words end in:
a hissing sound + es we pronounce it as /iz/
-ism we pronounce it as /izm/
