Vraagzin =  vorm van "to be" staat vooraan.

• Am I happy?
• Are they gone?
• Is she sad?

To be - ontkennend

Ontkennend = zet "not" achter de vorm van "to be"

• I am not happy.
• She is not sad / she isn't sad
• They are not gone / they aren't gone

To be - verkorte vorm

I am	I'm
you are	you're
she/he is	she's / he's
it is	it's
we are	we're
they are	they're

To be - verkorte vorm

am not	-
are not	aren't
is not	isn't
