Wat moet je kunnen?

De verschillende tijden op verschillende manieren gebruiken

Los van de tegenwoordige tijd, kunnen we de present simple ook nog gebruiken als we over de toekomst praten.
Kan je dit uitleggen/een voorbeeld geven?

Present simple

1. Tegenwoordige tijd 
   I walk the dog every morning 
   
   
2. Future 
   The shop closes at 8 p.m. every day 

And what about present continuous?
We can use this tense to talk about actions happening now (I am walking the do at the moment), but also when talking about the future. How?

Present continuous 

1. Iets is nu bezig
   We are drinking coffee right now/at the moment/as we speak
   
   
2.  Future 
   I am visiting my brother tomorrow 
   (nabije toekomst waarbij tijd en/of plaats al bekend is)

In the next few slides, fill in the correct form of the verb.

Choose between present simple OR present continuous

Will & going to 

1. will + verb

   Look at the clouds! It is going to rain.
   We are going to visit Wales in the summer.
