• Japan has lost WWII
• Indonesia wants to be independent
• The Dutch government wants to restore its power
• It is a chaotic period, with lots of violence: the beriap-period
• What is this next period? An war of independence or a "Politionele actie" (politie actie)?

Young Idonesian people want independence. They start violant acts against the Dutch in Indonesia.
