Hag’s Head

De klippen rijzen vanaf 120 meter op uit de Atlantische Oceaan bij Hag’s Head. Het hoogste punt ligt op 214 m. 

Halverwege ligt O’Brien’s Tower, een ronde stenen uitkijktoren, die in 1835 werd gebouwd door Cornelius O’Brien. Hij deed dat voor de vele toeristen die ook toen al de klippen bezochten. 

Tegenwoordig behoren de Cliffs of Moher tot een van de meest toeristische plekken in Ierland.

Making Money at the Festival

Neal is trying to make some money at the festival site.

Neal: Pardon me, but do you have some empty cups I could have? (…) Hi! Am I interrupting? Do you have empty cups to spare?

Patrick: Pardon?

Neal: Excuse me everyone! I’m looking for empty cups! If you have some, could you hand them to me, please.

Patrick: Why are you looking for empty cups?

Neal: Sorry, I didn’t get that.

Patrick: Why do you need empty cups?

Neal: Let’s move over here, where the sound isn’t as loud. Could you repeat that, please?

Patrick: I was just wondering why you need cups?

Neal: Well, you can hand them in at the bar. Ten cups are worth two euros! I’m just trying to make some money.

Patrick: Oh really? I didn’t know that! That’s a great idea. May I have your attention?
