The black spots in bonetissue are the cells of the tissue

Extracellular material

In between all the cells of the tissue is other material: Extracellulair material. Together with the cells it forms the tissue

Epidermis protects the inside

stoma makes it possible to let gas in and out

Annual rings

• Trees only grow during spring and summer
• Spring > Big layer (lots of growth)
• Summer > Thin layer (little growth)
• Ring spring + ring summer = 1 annual ring
