Adjectives

You can also add an adjective to a sentence. 

They are used to give more information about a noun. 

You place them before the noun.

I want to be a famous actress. (find the adjective)

We eat salted popcorn. (find the adjective)

He prefers films with fast cars.

Signaalwoorden

Adjectives kunnen ook worden geplaatst 

na bepaalde 'linking verbs' such as: 

to be, 

to look, 

to appear, 

to seem.

I look amazing in my new dress.

Adverb

Adverbs zeggen iets over de hoeelheid of de manier waarop iets gebeurd.

 Adverbs van hoeveelheid worden:

 VOOR het hoofdwerkwoord geplaatst en NA to be.

Andere adverbs worden meestal NA het hoofdwerkwoord gezet.

De meeste adverbs worden gemaakt door -ly aan een adjective toe te voegen.
