When? We gebruiken the Present continuous als iets op het moment van spreken bezig is. Het is nu aan de gang!
How? to be + ww-ing ( I am, you are, he/she/it is, they are)
I am playing, you are walking, she is studying, the dog is swimming, they are driving

Negative sentences: I am not sleeping, they are not working
Question sentences: Am I sleeping? Is she working? are they....?
Answering questions: No, you aren't. Yes she is.

Time expression: Now, right now, at the moment

Bijna altijd = ww + ing
Een werkwoord dat eindigt op een e? vervang de e door ing
- make- making
- smile- smiling 

Een werkwoord dat eindigt op een klinker + medeklinker? Dubbel de medeklinker

- stop- stopping
