Bijwoorden van regelmaat geven aan hoe vaak je iets doet:

always = altijd

usually = meestal

often = vaak

sometimes = soms

never = nooit

Bijwoorden van regelmaat komen VOOR een werkwoord:

I always eat dinner at 6 o'clock.

My dog never rides a bike.

My friends and I sometimes go to the movies together.

Maar ze komen NA een vorm van het werkwoord BE!

Mick is often at the school's cafeteria.

You are usually on time.

I am sometimes at the library.
