's is NOT allowed for plurals in English

What is the plural of:
house

1. house
2. housses
3. houses
4. hice

Regular plurals

Just add -s to the end

Example: table - tables

What is the plural of:
bus

1. bus
2. buses
3. busses
4. bussess

Ending in s-sound

If you want to make a plural of a word that ends in an s-sound, you have to add - es

Example: dish - dishes

What is the plural of:
thief

1. thief
2. thiefs
3. thiefes
4. thieves

Ending in -f or -fe

If you want to make a plural of a word that ends in -f or -fe, you have to change the -f to a -v and then add -s or -es

Example: wife - wives

What is the plural of:
city

Ending in -y (after a consonant)

If you want to make a plural of a word that ends in a consonant + -y, you have to change the -y to -i and then add -es

Example: baby - babies

What is the plural of:

Ending in -y (after a vowel)

If you want to make a plural of a word that ends in a vowel + y, you can just add -s to the end
