If the verb ends in a consonant, you....

Run ---> ?

1. Double the consonant --> Running
2. ONLY add -ing --> Runing

If the verb ends with in -e, you...

Love ---> ?

1. ONLY add -ing --> Loveing
2. Remove the -e --> Loving

If the verb ends with -y, you...

Play ---> ?

1. change the -y into -ie --> Plaiing
2. ONLY add -ing --> Playing

Near future --> somewhere in the next 3 months

• I am meeting her after class
