Today's lesson goals:

-Recap some difficulties of last week

- Check your homework

 - Make  sure you understand Grammar 1 and 2 fully

- Read 'Its all about the DJ'

Last week:

- “My teachers weren’t angry today, because I did my homework.”

- The word ‘today’ is confusing here, because ‘today’ usually has present tense. However, ‘did’ tells you that this sentence is in the past simple tense, because a sentence can only have one (1) tense! 'Today' is said here at the end of the day, so the day is finished/done.

Last week:

- Were or Where? (past tense)

Remember to write ‘were’ instead of ‘where’! 

- Learn by heart: at the weekend, at Christmas/Easter, at 9 o’clock / 9 pm, at the same time

1. Excuse me, what date is it? (12 september - 2016)

2. When was the concert? (15 april - 2015)

3. When did the captain quit the team? (1 februari - 1999)

4. What date is it tomorrow? (31 december)

5. When did the cinema close? (11 mei - 1986)

6. When did they lose the match? (8 januari - 2015

Now write the dates as you would in a letter:
- 12 september - 2016
- 15 april - 2015
- 1 februari - 1999
