Grammar

• For this part we will make groups:
• 1. You will join the front of the class to follow the grammar explanation again
• 2. You will work independently in your reader. 

The ones working independently will work on exercises from page 19 until 30 and will continue from where they left off.

• Open your reader on page 93, there you will see the Present Perfect. Which we'll continue learning today.
• On page 95, you see the 3rd rule of  'Het gebruik van de tijden van het werkwoord'

• Regel 3: Als iets in het verleden heeft plaatsgevonden, moet je de Past Simple gebruiken. De verleden tijd

• TIJDSBEPALING, CONTEXT UIT HET VERLEDEN = PAST SIMPLE

Stam + (e)d of onregelmatige vorm uit het 2e rijtje, TOEN = PAST SIMPLE

Grammar

• Regel 4: Soms heeft een zin in het verleden plaatsgevonden, maar staat deze niet in de o.v.t. Dan is het resultaat in het verleden nog steeds voelbaar of belangrijk.
• PRESENT PERFECT BIJ RECENTE HANDELINGEN

• I have just finished room 618 | I have not cleared the table yet
• I have just cleaned it | I have already served table 11

Grammar

Het gaat dus om handelingen die zeer recent wel/niet zijn gedaan. Alhoewel het in het verleden was, is het resultaat nog steeds merkbaar

• Just, Already of yet: Present Perfect!

• Present Perfect : In het verleden gebeurd/recente handeling of gebeurtenis en is in het heden nog te merken.

• Past Simple: Tijdsbepaling in het verleden en is klaar/afgesloten.                    Stam + (e)d | I cycled to school this morning

• Present Simple: Gewoonte, feit of algemene waarheid

Stam of Stam + (e)s bij He/she/it |  I drink/She drinks water every day.
