• We gebruiken will + hele werkwoord in het tweede gedeelte
  
• Waarom?
  
• Dit doen we als we aan willen geven dat als aan een voorwaarde wordt voldaan, de kans heel groot is dat het gevolg gaat gebeuren.

• We gebruiken would + hele werkwoord in het tweede gedeelte
  
• Waarom?
  
• Dit doen we als we aan willen geven dat het niet zo zeker [onwaarschijnlijk] is dat het gaat gebeuren.
• Mocht er, tegen alle verwachtingen in, toch aan de voorwaarde worden voldaan? Dan volgt er de actie.
