Sexually transmitted infection = infectious illnesses you can get by having sex
  • Sperm
  • Fluid from the vagina
  • Blood
  • Contact between mucous membranes on the penis, in the vagina, in the anus and in the mouth.

HIV
AIDS = the AIDS virus attacks white blood cells which results in a weakened immune system.

HIV = the virus that causes the STI AIDS

HIV-positive = when the HIV virus is present in your blood
