-I can describe the connection between high blood pressure and diet on the risk of cardiovascular disease.

-I can describe 2 ways of solving a blockage of a blood vessel.

Causes

-Unhealthy diet: 

-Lots of fatty foods increase cholesterol level in blood.

-Smoking causes constriction of vessels, which increases damage to arterial walls.

-Not enough exercise: higher blood pressure and weight.

-Genes which increase cholesterol level.
