Het speelt zich af in de tegenwoordige tijd.

Bij de onderwerpen He, she, it (SHIT) --> ww + s

Bij de andere onderwerpen (I, you, we, they, you) --> ww

Je gebruikt de present simple bij feiten + gewoonten

Always, every monday, often.

Questions and negations

When asking a question:

 To be + auxiliary verbs: Is Jack Funny?

Main verbs: Do / does + subject + verb + rest of the sentence.

Do you like homework?

Check! Heb je met een to be ww te maken? Die vooraan in de zin, anders Do / does + ww

Negations: Make a sentence negative: add 'not' to the verb

Present continuous

am / are / is + werkwoord + ing

He is working at the moment.

Wanneer gebruik je am/ are / is?

Wanneer gebruik je de 'Present Continuous'?

• De vorm gebruik je als iets aan de gang is op het moment dat je erover spreekt of schrijft.
• Iets gebeurt dus op dit moment.
