Grammar year 1

• Present simple: I live in Steenwijk.
• Present continuous: I am living in Steenwijk at the moment.
• Future: I am going to live in Steenwijk in two weeks.
•  Past simple: I lived in Steenwijk two years ago.

Past simple: Verleden tijd

• Gebeurtenissen in het verleden die afgelopen zijn.
• Regelmatige werkwoorden; infinitief + -ed. 
  We visited the zoo last Friday.
  They climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 2015.
  I cycled here two weeks ago.
  My sister liked feeding the animals.

Spelling

• Staat er al een E aan het eind? + D -> Like - liked.
• Medeklinker aan het eind? Dubbele medeklinker -> Stop - stopped.
• Staat er een Y aan het eind? Y wordt IED -> Try - tried.

• Onregelmatige werkwoorden (swim/swam/swum) = 2H.
