De woorden SOME en ANY betekenen allebei iets als 'een paar' of 'een beetje'.
  • Do you have any sugar?
  • I need some eggs.
  • Can I have some water please?
  • There aren't any apples left.

We gebruiken SOME in positieve (bevestigende) zinnen. Bij vragen waar je zeker weet dat het antwoord 'ja' is  gebruiken we SOME.
  • I need SOME eggs?
  • He has SOME sweets for you.
  • Can I have ASOME water, please?

  • Some nouns have irregular plural forms. You have to learn these by heart.

  • Some nouns stay the same in plural form.
    Sommige zelfst. nw blijven hetzelfde in meervoudsvorm.
