2. I will then mail your parents to give them more information and ask if they are okay with it.

3. I will ask your coach if they see any reason for you not to join

4. If everything is okay I will put you on the list and at some point Cambridge will show up in Zermelo / Magister

Op de volgende slide staan voorbeeldzinnen met some / any. Kun je de regel vinden wanneer je welke gebruikt? Ze betekenen allebei hetzelfde: wat, een aantal.

2. Is there any coffee left?

3. There aren’t any trick questions in the test

4. I’ve seen some episodes of this series, but not all of them.

5. I’d like some crisps. Are there any left or did you eat them all?
6. I’m hungry, I haven’t had any lunch.  

7. You don’t have to be afraid, there aren’t any scary clowns in the film.

8. My parents don’t let me play any 18- plus games.

Wat is de regel?

Hieronder staan twee zinnen die zich NIET aan deze regel houden. 

Waarom denk je dat dat is? 

1. I've baked cake. Would you like some? 

2. Can I have some of those crisps you've  bought? 

Je gebruikt hier "some" in een vraag omdat......

De regels gelden ook voor alle andere woorden met some en any:

LET OP: in ontkenningen vertaal je anything, anyone etc. in het Nederlands met niets, niemand etc.

De basisregel is dat je een s direct achter het woord zet, ZONDER KOMMA.

Bijzonderheden: 1 

Als het woord  eindigt op een s- of een z-klank (een sisklank) zet je -es achter het woord. 

One kiss - two kisses

One watch - two watches

Bijzonderheden: 2 

Als het woord eindigt op f of fe eindigt het meervoud op -ves 

One half - two halves 

One life - two lives

Als het woord eindigt op een medeklinker + y eindigt het meervoud op -ies

LET OP: bij een tweeklank  op -y (oy, ay, ey) komt er alleen een s achter.
