Have/ has + past participle

What's the difference?

"You have cleaned the bathroom! It looks lovely."

"You've been cleaning the bathroom! It's starting to look clean again."

Action has ended but the result is still visible

Action has been started in the past and still going on in the present

Present perfect continuous

When

to talk about unfinished actions that have started in the past and continue in time ‘up-to-now’. 

Use for or since to say how long.

How

have/ has - been - verb+ing

Continuous = always a form of to be (been) & verb+ing
