What is news literacy,
do you think?

News Literacy is:

News literacy is designed to help students develop critical thinking skills in order to judge the reliability and credibility of information, whether it comes via print, television or the Internet. This is a particularly important skill in the Digital Age, as everyone struggles to deal with information overload and the difficulty in determining the authenticity of reports.

The News Project

There are many sides to news.

During this period, we are going to learn:

-  The different types of news

- How to watch the news 

- How to decide if the news we watch is reliable and credible 

- Make a news broadcast ourselves

Why do you think it is important to know how to watch and assess (=beoordelen) the news?
