How do you do this?

1 you need to change the subject into a plural subject
2 you need to change the verb and conjugate into a plural form

regular verbs get -den or -ten in the past tense

De auto rijdt op de straat.

rollen=whole verb

lopen, liggen, rijden, varen are irregular verbs. That means they change in the past tense.

lopen-liep-gelopen (to walk, walked, have walked)
liggen-lag-gelegen (to lie, lay, have lain)

rijden-reed-gereden (to drive, drove, driven)
