At the end of this lesson:

- You can give your opinion on a statement in English

Instruction

You are going to be given a statement in English. Discuss with your neighbour  for 5 minutes per statement!

Afterwards I will let the wheel decide who shares their ideas.

Example: Green apples are better than red ones.

Statement 1

Homework is a waste of time. 

Statement 2

Phones should not be allowed in schools 

Statement 3

Pupils should pay for books at school.

Statement 4

Practical assignments are better than (paper) tests.

Statement 5

Schools should give each pupil a free laptop

Statement 6

School uniforms should become mandatory (=verplicht)

Statement 7

School should start at 10:00 o'clock and finish at 5 o 'clock

Statement 8

Pupils  should be more in charge of what they want to learn at school.
