Present Simple form
Affirmative (=bevestigend/positief)
Negation (=ontkennend)
Questions (=vragen)
Signal words: always, often, never, usually, every week/day/month/year.

Singular/Plural (=enkelvoud/meervoud)

Affirmative: (positive)
Subject + Verb (1st) + s/es + Object 

Examples:
I enjoy basketball.  
He works at Albert Heijn. 
We travel to school together. 
They like to go to the cinema on Fridays.

Negations: (not - n't)
Subject + do/does + not + Verb (1st) + Object

Example:
I do not (don't) enjoy basketball. 
He does not (doesn't) work at Albert Heijn. 
We do not (don't) travel to school together. 
They do not (don't) like to go to the cinema.

Questions (Interrogative):
Do/Does + subject + Verb (1st) + Object + ?
- Is usually asked directly at someone.
- Ending with a question mark. 
Examples:
Do I like fruit?                                   Don't you (all) want to stay for dinner?
Do you speak English?                 Doesn't he like her?
Does he/she speak English?     Don't they enjoy biking?
Do we know each other?
