How would you make a sentence talking about the future?

Op welke manieren kan je over de toekomst praten?

Dit kan op een aantal manieren, namelijk door gebruik te maken van:

- to be going to + hele werkwoord

- will + hele werkwoord

- shall + hele werkwoord

to be going to + hele werkwoord

You can use to be going to + hele werkwoord when you've made plans before a conversation and when you make a prediction WITH evidence:

- We're going to visit London.

- Look at him! He is going to win the race!

will/shall + hele ww

You use it when you make plans during the conversation or you make a prediction without evidence or based on your opinion:

- You're right, I will visit my parents.

- I think we will  win the league.

will/shall + hele ww

You can also use it when you make promises, spontaneous offers, requests, proposals:

- Shall I help you with your groceries, sir?

- I will help you with your homework.

Make one sentence with to be going to.

The future tense: Make one sentence with WILL.

The future tense: Make one sentence with SHALL.
