Present continuous

Je gebruikt deze vorm als een activiteit op dit moment aan de gang is.

Je vormt de present continuous als volgt:

Pronoun + am/is/are + verb + ing

Bijvoorbeeld:

I am sitting in class at this very moment.

Hoe vorm je de present continuous?

Present simple vs continuous

Je gebruikt de PS als dingen regelmatig gebeuren, feiten zijn of gewoonten.  

Je gebruikt de PC als je iets op dit moment aan het doen bent (NU)

Bijvoorbeeld:

" I am eating lunch with my friends at the moment. "

" We eat lunch every day at 12 o'clock. "
