Food organisation involves effective practice in staff organisation, service methods, preparation and control of resources
Legislation and regulation is very important factors in food service organisation particularly in hygiene and safety!
Design of the workspace and movement of people and goods is known as 'workflow'
Staff organisation and methods of operation and service vary in different
hospitality businesses depending on the particular requirements of the business
In this unit we will also investiage practices and procedures used and the importance of liaising with other departments within the business

Organisational Structure Example
The purpose of an organisation structure is to help the organisation to achieve its aims and objectives and employees to complete their work effectively and efficiently.
An organisation structure allocates employees designated work roles and responsibilities and helps management to coordinate and control activities.

Activity: Using the A4 page in front of you, using your own knowledge of working within these organisations, draw and label your organisational structure within your department and highlight your role. 

Only draw the roles that you are aware of.

If you do not work or have never worked work alongside someone who has.
