Remember future with going to?
We use going to  for plans, intentions and predictions (when we have evidence)

The boys are going to do their homework. (plan,intention)
It is going to rain. I see dark clouds. (prediction with evidence)

We use will for decisions, promises and predictions (without evidence)

The boys will do their homework now. (decision)

We use present continuous for fixed future plans.
In this case you will always see a time adverbial (on Monday, at 12.00 o'clock, in the weekend)

They are meeting in the weekend. (fixed future plan)
