Tips for writing large numbers:

• Een komma tussen de cijfers => een komma tussen de woorden

=> 1,312,456 = one million, three hundred and twelve, four hundred and fifty-six

• Na een honderdtal schrijf en zeg je “and”

• Tussen een tiental en een enkel cijfer, schrijf je een koppelteken:

(C) Saying no with don't and doesn't

Wanneer je de present simple ontkennend maakt met not, gebruik je don't and doesn't.  Doesn't gebruik je bij he, she & it. Achter don't of doesn't komt het hele werkwoord:

I don't look	it doesn't like
you don't walk	we don't eat
he doesn't talk	they don't work
she doesn't play
