Brazilian Climates

Brazil has five main climates: equatorial, tropical, semi-arid, highland tropical, and subtropical.

Equatorial Climate

The equatorial climate is found near the equator and has high temperatures and rainfall throughout the year.

Tropical Climate

The tropical climate is found in the northern and central parts of Brazil and has a wet and a dry season.

Semi-Arid Climate

The semi-arid climate is found in the northeast region of Brazil and has a dry and a rainy season.

Highland Tropical Climate

The highland tropical climate is found in the southeastern part of Brazil and has mild temperatures and rainfall throughout the year.

Subtropical Climate

The subtropical climate is found in the southern part of Brazil and has four well-defined seasons.
