What's the deal?

Goal: you can understand the key points in a text on a familiar topic?

1: Start by looking at the (sub)title and pictures.

2: Read the first and last sentences of each paragraph. 

3: Read the questions.

4: Underline important words in Qs.

4: Find the answers in the text, highlight them in the text, and answer the questions. 

Done? Make sure you answered everything and read your book.

Your pen pals wrote you a letter at the end of February.

To do this lesson:

1. Read the letter that you got.
2. Respond to the question/ comments they wrote down.
3.  Ask a few questions and tell what you've been up to lately.

Open and close your letter politely. Ask questions and show interest in them. Tell them about the NL and your life here. Communicate in English and have fun!	Don't share personal info like social media/ gaming tags. Be respectful of your pen pal and don't ask inappropriate q's.
