What do you need?

Everything should be in your drive in Classroom. Please go to your Classroom to "The Landlady". Can you find it?

What do you do?

• (3 min) read the questions from part B of the assignment
• read (and listen to) the story (audio version = 23 minutes)
  Ask me for help if you have any questions; 
• answer the questions from part B of the assignment
  (write down in your CB)

 

• class choice: do you want to read on your own or do you want me to read out loud? Main difference: you get to ask quesions during reading.

The Second Lesson

• Finish reading and answering the questions (15 mins)
• EXTRA: Finished everything? Go to Classroom and watch the beginning of the film (it's quite old-fashioned...). Try to answer the question in the box.

In the story, the author just wrote that Billy went to Bath by train for a job. The film cannot do this. How do they solve the problem? How do you learn?

• This is a separate assigment on Classroom.
• Please download it, write your text and hand it in.

• Choose one of the two assignments
• Before you start writing: 
  - try to think of what you want to say
  - take some notes or write some words
• Then start writing
• After finishing: check spelling, grammar. 
• Hand it in.
