Some and any (onbepaalde voornaamwoord)

Some en any betekenen allebei wat / een enkele / een paar.

Wat?	Wanneer?	Voorbeeld
Some	- In een normale (bevestigende) zin -Bij vragen met definitief ja als antwoord	- I've met some interesting people. - Can i have some water?
Any	- In de meeste vragen - In ontkennende zinnen (met "not")	- Do you have any questions? - They didn't make any mistakes.

Demonstrative pronouns (aanwijzend voornaamwoord)

Used: to talk about specific things or people.

	Singular	Plural
Nearby (vlakbij)	this	these	This book over here belongs to me and that book over there is hers.
Further away (verder weg)	that	those	Those are beautiful flowers in her yard.

Articles

The	Verwijst naar iets of iemand specifiek. Bijv: Can you pass me the salt? weglaten bij iets, iemaand algemeen of gebouwen en plaatsen met specifieke doel. bijv: He is in hospital now
A	Gebruik je voor woorden die beginnen met een medeklinker: a book Behalve by hour, euro, European, university, uniform
An	Gebruik je bij woorden die een klinker hebben. (A, E, I, O, U) : an apple Of die lijken alsof ze met een klinker beginnen: an hour

- Quantities and packages: cup, pinch, spoonful, ounce, can etc,

Speaking exercise: Duo's (1 contestant and 1 judge) then switch.

                                       : 2 minutes to prepare what you will say.
