De Present Simple is de Engelse term voor de tegenwoordige tijd. Je gebruikt deze vorm als je het hebt over feiten, gewoonten of regelmatigheden.

Aanwijzingen voor present simple

• always
• often 
• sometimes 
• never

present continuous

Present staat voor tegenwoordige tijd, het gebeurt dus NU. 

Continuous houdt in dat het een duurvorm is, dit betekent dat het voor een langere periode duurt of kan duren.
