• Always take a notebook with you to class.

3. Complete the phrases the student used for identifying people and things in the photo. Use the prepositions on page 10. (in, in, in, on, to, with)

1. Look at the photo and choose the correct preposition in sentence 1-6 .

Expressions with look

Look + a bit / just + like + noun/person

Ex. She looks a bit like her mother

Look + adjective

Ex. It looks beautiful

Look + as though/as if/like + clause

Ex. It looks like she is eating her entire meal

Word Order

Who, does,        what,             where,           when

She walks with her friend to school every morning.

Ask yourself these questions: 

1. Who or what is this sentence about?

2. What is the person(s) or animal/things doing (verb)

3. What happens with the verb?

4. Where does it take place?

5. When does it take place?
