To research the oldest rocks in a rock layer, you take a look at the:

EFFECTS:

- A lot of energy was released--> temperature rose to 1000 degrees. Trees and animals were burnt in environment of metorite.

- Above rock layers of 65 million years and older there is a layer of clay with iridium --> iridium is not found on earth. + fossils of dinosaurs below this

Why did dinosaurs also die at what we now call Russia
