Je kunt een meervoud maken door een S achter het woord te zetten.

Let op: bij meervoud nooit 's !!!!

Wanneer een woord eindigt op -f of -fe, dan is het meervoud -ves
1 Wolf --> 3 wolves
Wanneer een woord eindigt op medeklinker + y dan is het meervoud -ies 1 hobby ---> 2 hobbies

Long and short Answers
- Short answer is een kort antwoord op een vraag, met persoonlijke voornaamwoord (als onderwerp) en een hulpwerkwoord.
Example: - Do you like shopping for new clothes?  - Yes, I do. / No, I don't
- Long answer is een lang antwoord op de vraag, waarin je vrijwel de hele zin herschrijft, met het onderwerp + hulpwerkwoord vooraan in de zin!
Example: - Does Gary go shopping in London a lot
- Yes, he does go shopping in London a lot.   
- No, he doesn't go shopping in London a lot.

1. Does Sara spend a lot of time studying?
->Yes,  she does spend a lot of time studying. (long)               --> Yes, she does. (short)
-> No, she doesn't spend a lot of time studying.                        --> No, she doesn't.

2. Can Jane and Max work together on this assignment?
-> Yes, they can work together on this assignment. (long)    --> Yes, they can. (short)
-> No, they can't work together on this assignment.                --> No, they can't.

3. Is this your favourite sweater?
-> Yes, it is my favourite sweater. (long)                                          --> Yes, it is (short)
-> No, it isn't my favourite sweater.                                                    --> No, it isn't.
