In groups of 4, look at the poem and answer/discuss the following questions:
How does reading the poem make you feel and why?
Describe what Maya Angelou thinks of racism. How is it (not) similar to your opinion?
How has Maya Angelou experienced society when you look at the poem? Explain.
Do you think that nowadays there are people who feel the same way as Angelou did? if yes, who are they and what do they stand for?
