TELLING TIME!

Telling the time - hele uren, kwartieren & halve uren

Als het een heel uur is, zeg je:

"It is ... o' clock'

Bij elk kwartier:

"It is a quarter to/past ..."

Bij elk half uur:

"It is half past ..."

Let hier goed op de spelling! 

o + ' + clock = o'clock

Op de volgende slide staat wanneer je past of to gebruikt.

bij het halfuur gebruik je altijd 'past'!

Als je wilt vertellen hoe laat het is, kan je de klok  in tweeën verdelen:

• Past (van 1 tot 30 minuten)
• To (Van 31 tot 59 minuten)

In het Nederlands hebben we op een

digitale klok 07:00 of 19:00 staan. Dat heet

de 24-uursaanduiding

In het Engels heb je dit niet!
