Today you will practice your reading skills indepently. 

At the end of this lesson:

you know how to pick a strategy and answer all questions correctly.

What is delta?

WHAT: deltaplan is an opportunity (kans) for you to practice your reading skills. 

WHY: you'll have a reading test in the testweek and practicing helps.

HOW: you'll see a LessonUp on Magister and can practice alone in a flex/at home.

Use this plan to tackle the text:

1: Start by reading the title and looking at the pictures.

2: Read the first and last sentence of each paragraph.

3: Read the questions.

4: Read the text and answer the question.

Reading strategies

Read the Q's and choose: 

1: Bigger picture: skim --> read the intro and look at the title(s).

2: Specific: scan --> look for a specific piece of info(day, time, etc.)

3: Entire text: detailed --> read the whole text because it's important you understand all everything.

Reading strategies

Skim short texts with only one or two questions. 

Scan short/medium texts with questions about specific things.

Read with detail when it's a long text with a lot of questions.
