Will gebruik je om aan te geven dat iets in de toekomst gaat gebeuren. 

• Once in my life I will visit  South Africa 
• Eens in mijn leven zal ik  Zuid-Afrika bezoeken.

• Geen zorgen! Wij zullen ons huiswerk maken

Vormen

Je kan will op twee manieren schrijven:

1. Lange vorm: will
   He will close the window. It is cold.
   
   
2. Korte vorm: 'll
   He'll close the window. It is cold.

Ontkennende zinnen

• Bij ontkennende zinnen zet je 'not' achter 'will'. Je schrijft dit kort als won't 

         I won't help you.

         The cat won't eat.

         His car won't start.

Vragende zinnen

Bij vragen zet je 'will' voor het onderwerp, daarna volgt het andere werkwoord

Will you see him again?

LET OP: bij vragen met 'I' en 'we' gebruik je 'shall' in plaats van 'will'. Dan betreft het een voorstel.
