Relative clauses WHO - WHICH - THAT 

Dutch: betrekkelijke voornaamwoorden 

I play tennis with Henk 

Henk lives in The Hague

I play tennis with Henk, who lives in The Hague.

Relative clauses WHO - WHICH - THAT 

Dutch: betrekkelijke voornaamwoorden 

I play tennis with Henk 

Tennis is my favorite sport 

I play tennis, which is my favorite sport, with Henk 

WHO - WHICH - THAT - X

Who - als het op personen slaat 

Which - als het op dieren/dingen slaat 

That - als er geen komma in de zin staat kun je who/which vervangen door that

X - als het tweede gedeelte van de zin met een onderwerp begint kun je who/which/that weglaten
