Future 1
Will is used to show that something will happen in the future.
"It will rain tomorrow"

Will and shall are used for plans and intentions that you make in the moment that you say them.
"The phone's ringing. I'll answer it."

Future 1
You have to use shall when proposing things, or when asking for people's preferences/decisions.

"Shall we talk about something else?" (proposal)
"When shall I come and visit you?" (preference)
"How on earth shall we deal with it?" (decision)

The present continuous can refer to the future when there is an exisiting plan

"Next week I am eating out with my girlfriend."
"In July we're going on holiday in Italy."

Be + going to can refer to the future when there is an existing plan.

"Mark and Ruud are going to have a party tomorrow."
"My sister is going to have a baby next month."

Be + going to is used when there are clear indications that something is going to happen.

"Look at those clouds! It's going to rain."
"Is it already 12 o'clock? Oh dear, I'm going to be late for school."

The present simple is used for set times/schedules. Think of: public transport, opening and closing times of stores, school/work times.

"Our train leaves at 4:15."
"The supermarket closes at 6."
"Our next lesson is on Thursday."

Present simple
For things that always, never or frequently happen.
" I always get up at 6."
"Jenny often goes out on Friday."

For facts.
"Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius."
"My town lies on the coast."

1. Something is happening at this moment.
"We're reading war poems in class at the moment."
"Jason is working in the supermarket today."

2. Plans in the near future.
"Joyce and I are visiting a friend this afternoon."
"This weekend I'm going to a school party."

3. To show annoyance (in combination with always, constantly.)

"Jenny is always gossiping."
"Grandmother is constantly complaining."

If you don't want to express annoyance, use the present simple.
